For the final month of 2022, AnswerConnect donated to Future Woodlands Scotland. The donation will support Future Woodlands Scotland in its mission to plant, protect and preserve trees and native woodlands in Scotland.
As a Scottish charity dedicated to the establishment and conservation of trees and native woodlands, Future Woodlands Scotland works with individuals, organisations and local communities to help improve ecological resistance and increase carbon stores.
The donation forms part of AnswerConnect’s “Giving Back” initiative, in which they donate to a different environmental NGO each month. AnswerConnect also partners with Trees For the Future to plant a tree on behalf of every client and every employee, every month. And that partnership has yielded real results; as of December 2022, we’ve planted 1,353,936 trees.
Shireen Chambers MBE FICFor, Future Woodlands Scotland CEO, said:
“We are delighted AnswerConnect has chosen Future Woodlands Scotland as their charity partner. At Future Woodlands Scotland, we are committed to finding solutions to help combat the climate and biodiversity crises. AnswerConnect’s support will help us in our mission to increase how we use our rich, natural assets for the benefit of our communities, wildlife and planet.”
Angela Fee, Head of Mattering at AnswerConnect UK, said:
“We’re proud to partner with Future Woodlands Scotland. Their tireless work protecting, preserving and restoring Scotland’s natural habitat is an inspiration. Their funded programmes, research and innovation initiatives are also crucial to ensuring future generations continue to fight for the future of Scotland’s trees and native woodlands.”
This donation is further confirmation of AnswerConnect’s commitment to its three core values of people, planet and purpose. Through this donation and the continued work of Future Woodlands Scotland, we can preserve the beauty of Scotland’s natural environment for future generations.
